Acai Berry Myths Debunked
Acai berry have grown so much in popularity that there are now so many misinformation and myths floating around both in the internet and in mainstream media. Those with little knowledge about this wonderful fruit are often taken advantage of and misled because of this. Acai berries have true and proven benefits. You only need to slog through the exaggerated claims to find out the real truth about this product.
Here are some interesting facts you should know about, dispelling certain Acai berry myths.
Acai berry is the fountain of youth. False. While it is true that the fruit has anti aging properties, it is nowhere near to what others claim will provide eternal youth. Antioxidants do not stop aging, but merely slows it down by reducing the damage free radicals does to our cells.
Acai berry cures diabetes. False. Cure is a rather misleading word to use. After all, if it can “cure” such a disease, it’ll cost more than just $41 per box won’t it? Rather, because of its ability to lower blood sugar levels, Acai berry can help manage diabetes.
Acai berry cures impotency. While not entirely false, it is still misleading. It is true that the fruit has the ability to increase blood circulation, thereby helping those with erectile dysfunction regain erection. But it is in no way a cure for those who are impotent because of psychological problems. In order to gain erection, the underlying psychological problem must be treated first before any headway can be made regarding any sexual activity.
